The Possehl Group, which operates worldwide under the leadership of the management holding company L. Possehl & Co. mbH, is a diversified group with currently ten economically independent, decentrally organized business divisions. The Possehl Group comprises L. Possehl & Co. mbH and more than 200 subsidiaries in over 30 countries. In fiscal year 2022, the Group generated preliminary sales of EUR 5.5 billion. The sole shareholder of our Group is the non-profit Possehl Foundation in Lübeck. It uses the profits generated for charitable purposes in the Hanseatic city. Our corporate culture is characterized by a Hanseatic understanding and a long-term orientation.
As a trainee, you will gain a comprehensive overview of the digital transformation in medium-sized companies as well as the establishment and development of startups and digital companies with a focus on digital business models, digital products and process optimization within 15 months. In addition, you will also work primarily in digital companies and startups and get to know the work as an entrepreneur or intrapreneur. You will take on responsibility early on and further develop your digital and entrepreneurial skills. As a member of competent teams, you work closely on current topics and projects and can thus make a valuable contribution to the digital transformation and thus to the company’s success.
You will further develop your skills through regular feedback and interdisciplinary skills training. During the four-month stay in a medium-sized Possehl company, you will also experience the digital transformation from the customer’s perspective. In addition, you can exchange your experiences and knowledge with colleagues, make contacts in management and build a network through an interesting social program.
